Close Reading Interactive Notes

Close reading is the act of wrestling through a piece of literature, tearing apart its meaning. For most students, the beginning of this process is boring and laborious. You figure out the summary, narrator, themes, audience, keywords, etc. This website was meant to make this dry part more engaging so that students will be willing to do it and be more prepared to talk about the work in class.
